- provide on-site clinical support at designated court locations, responding to detainee health needs and supporting safe proceedings
- conduct initial assessments and escalate concerns appropriately, including liaison with on-call doctors or emergency services as required
- maintain accurate clinical documentation and contribute to incident reporting in line with governance protocols
- collaborate with court staff, client personnel, and legal teams to ensure safe and respectful care delivery
- uphold infection control standards and maintain cleanliness of clinical equipment and workspace
- support administrative tasks including vetting compliance, deployment logs, and clinical handovers
- participate in reflective practice and contribute to service improvement initiatives
Requirements
- full HCPC registration
- paramedic qualification certificate
- at least 2-year experience as a paramedic
- HCPC-registered paramedic with sound clinical assessment skills
- enhanced DBS on the update service or be willing to obtain one
- strong verbal and written communication to engage effectively with detainees, court staff, and multidisciplinary teams
- full UK Driving License
- ability to work autonomously and remain composed in high-pressure environments
