finance director

Education

  • relevant degree, professional qualification or equivalent experience in business administration, finance, or related field preferred
  • significant experience in financial management, ideally within a relevant sector
  • proven record overseeing business operations, compliance, and financial reporting
  • experience with budget preparation and monitoring
  • ideally experience in payroll, and statutory returns
  • proficient in office administration and IT systems
  • ideally some experience of team leadership, including recruitment, supervision, and HR processes
  • familiarity with UK charity governance, Companies House, Charity Commission, and data protection legislation will be advantageous
