- excellent knowledge of MS Office and the Adobe Suite
- knowledge of pay-per-click would be beneficial but not essential

- co-ordinate the distribution of invitations, monitor responses and manage cancellations for seminars
- prepare supporting materials
- co-ordinate follow up activity
- monitor and report on competitor activity
- liaise with partners/other lawyers to agree on relevant seminars/events we will deliver
- general administrative duties
- dealing with telephone and email queries
- photocopying and binding
- scanning and uploading of documents
- the accurate delivery of goods and letters within the firm and to clients and appropriate organisations
- ensuring confidentiality and security of practice and clients’ documentation
- providing and effective and efficient service to all departments
- ensuring collection and delivery of all mail whilst keeping accurate records for registered mail, recorded mail and use of franking machine

- dealing with straightforward legal documents when required

- provision of excellent support and assistance to fee-earners
- good speed and accuracy when typing
- experience of working independently and as part of a team
- excellent organisational and communication skills
- knowledge of legal terminology
- be able to apply flexibility to work under pressure, and to use own initiative with regards to prioritising workloads
- be an excellent team player
- legal secretarial: 1 year
