  • to provide effective line management and supervision of ASH crisis practitioners. Including staff development, appraisal and performance management where required

Requirements

  • minimum of 2 years experience in a Managerial role

  • experience of working in related voluntary sector or statutory organisations
  • experience of working in a Mental Health, Drug & Alcohol, or similar setting
  • good communication skills – verbal and written
  • patient and calm demeanor

Requirements

  • working in a multi-skilled and varied role, sometimes with conflicting priorities
  • voluntary sector experience
  • working with and supporting the work of senior management, managers, and colleagues
  • understanding of the wellbeing needs of people with mental health needs, including those from culturally diverse communities
  • the ability to work effectively on own and as part of a team
  • strong written communication skills to include but not be limited to note taking, drafting minutes, and producing quality documents
  • using databases and systems for data collection, maintenance, manipulation, interpretation, and reporting
  • valid driving licence and access to a car for work

  • to ensure that the data system is accurate to support returns and data enquires and assist with any issues arising
