Responsibility

  • respond promptly to inquiries via email, telephone, or in person
  • educate users about IT products and services
  • guide users step-by-step through the problem-solving process

Requirements

  • 2-3 years of experience in an IT help desk or similar user support role, preferably in a Microsoft-based environment
  • HNC/HND, NVQ Level 3, or equivalent qualification with relevant ICT content, or relevant ICT certifications
  • proficiency in Active Directory, with exposure to Azure Active Directory / Entra ID
  • experience in Office365 Administration
  • strong understanding of Remote Working Environments
  • familiarity with Hyper-V and Hybrid Remote Setups
  • proficiency in Windows Server Configuration and Windows 10/11 Troubleshooting
  • knowledge of Networking Fundamentals, including Sonicwall VPN/Routing, Port Forwarding, and TCP/IP configurations

  • review and verify invoices for accuracy and appropriate approvals
  • enter invoices into the accounting system accurately and timely
  • reconcile accounts payable transactions and resolve any discrepancies
  • reconcile company credit cards
  • supplier statement reconciliations
  • assist in month-end closing activities, including account reconciliations
  • generate reports and assist with internal and external audits
  • ensure compliance with company policies and relevant regulations

  • additional education in accounting or finance preferred
  • proven experience as an Accounts Payable Assistant or similar role
  • strong attention to detail and organisational skills
  • excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently
