Responsibility
- oversee the day-to-day accounting function for our 2 UK companies with a group turnover of £10m and 85 employees
- prepare monthly financial reports and analysis
- provide insightful commentary on company performance and suggest areas of improvement
- prepare budgets and forecasts
- conduct monthly reviews of budgets and reforecasts with budget holders
- oversee the monthly payroll process
- prepare VAT returns
- manage the accounts team, setting objectives and overseeing workloads
Education
- qualified Accountant with a background of academic achievement
- proven experience as coach to their team and others in an organisation
- experience of working in an SME environment would be desirable
Requirements

- excellent attention to detail and able to work independently
