Responsibility

  • development, introduction and enhancement of contemporary / world class MP&L systems, processes, and philosophies
  • support Group Purchasing & SBU lead buyers in identifying potential suppliers
  • liaising between suppliers, manufacturers, relevant internal departments, and customers
  • bill of Materials
  • take the operational lead on day-to-day supplier management, monitoring supplier progress – quality, delivery and ensuring sufficient stock levels whilst minimising inventory
  • create best-in-class inventory / stock control / scheduling processes • Standard Operating Procedures
  • basic MRP, back-flushing techniques and shortage elimination
  • use structured problem-solving techniques within the supply chain
