Responsibility

  • take initial instructions from clients sensitively and with understanding of trauma-informed practice
  • liaise with courts, police, support workers, and interpreters as required
  • ensure timely and accurate completion of Legal Aid applications
  • manage and maintain case files, ensuring compliance with internal procedures and regulatory standards
  • maintain confidentiality and adhere to safeguarding protocols at all times
  • support solicitors with case progression, correspondence, and administrative tasks as needed
  • prepare statements, chronologies, and supporting documentation in line with court and legal aid requirements
  • assist in preparing and drafting urgent court applications, including Non-Molestation Orders and Occupation Orders
