Requirements

  • hold a valid DCPC Card
  • previous experience of powder tankers is advantageous, but not essential as full training can be given
  • to hold a full LGV C+E licence
  • driving a Goods Vehicle: 2 years
  • driving: 2 years

Responsibility

  • work is generally Monday to Friday with occasional Saturday’s to meet customers’ needs
  • this is a full-time permanent position and the driver is allocated their own unit and where possible uses the same tanker
  • drivers are expected to work under their own initiative and liaise in a professional manner with our customers
  • keeping your vehicle in a good clean condition, inside and out
  • be able to follow instructions in line with comprehensive company procedures and within strict industry guidelines and can work unsupervised with a high level of self-motivation
