- preferably educated to Degree Level
- preferably educated to degree standard or with a minimum 2 years proven technical sales track record
- product Knowledge & Technical Experience
- international - cross borders experience having managed global teams
- high level experience of client negotiations at senior/board level
- excellent written and verbal communication skills
- A strong understanding of the Apparel Labelling Industry and product range is a requirement
- communicating up and down the organisation to ensure the development of the role and raising the profile within the company
Responsibility
- create a demand for company products, and generate territory growth in line with targets defined by the Sales Director
- new Business is the Primary Role of the Business Development Manager
- sales budget/forecast responsibility for the customer revenue, Margin, DSO and DII
- to prepare and implement sales plans and initiatives
- identify sales opportunities and effectively present key features and benefits of our products and services to help secure new business
- prepare a strategic business plan for their nominated accounts covering all of the items specified by the UK Director
- to identify and develop new product and market areas and their conversion into sales
- ability to analyse and problem solve, and to sell a technical consultative package to the customer
