Responsibility
- dealing with queries and issues by telephone, fax and email from our customers, sub-contract hauliers and warehousing sites
- booking in collections for customers and completion of relevant paperwork
- liaising with Traffic and Administration teams to ensure the highest standards of performance are maintained at all times

- reporting problems and dealing with issues and any queries that arise
- ensure all paperwork is returned for all customer deliveries despatched from site, and chase outstanding POD’s
- reporting to the Transport Manager and liaising with the contract Management Accountant you will be responsible for provision of administrative support and creation of accurate data, with the ability to work to deadlines and contributing to the overall success of the site
- liaising with staff at other depots and external contacts
- photocopying, printing, organising and storing documents and computer based information
- contribute to the success of the site by ensuring that all POD and Return processes are carried out in accordance with the site policy documents
- as a Transport Administrator you will be reporting to the Transport Manager, you will be responsible for provision of administrative support and creation of accurate data, with the ability to work to deadlines and contributing to the overall success of the site
- managing inbound diary for all customers
- contributing to the success of the Transport team, The Transport Administrator will be responsible for overseeing the day to day planning of the secondary transport operation and relevant administration tasks related to this
- shift: Monday - Friday
- monitoring daily the clean POD workflow
- controlling period end spreadsheets, which show outstanding, POD’s
- compiling lists of outstanding POD’s and contacting the hauliers to request
- reporting the POD’s outstanding each day
Requirements
- have excellent problem solving, analytical and organisational skills
- be able to make decisions under pressure, and to a tight timescale
- excellent communication skills

- subcontracting and planning orders out of multiple warehouse facilities and manufacturing sites across the UK
- transport/Warehouse operation experience preferable but not essential
