warehouse team leader
Working hours
- full-time | Permanent
Responsibility
- to support the Warehouse Manager, by means of receiving and delegating work to staff and to support warehouse operatives
- receive internal communication and from Head of Warehouse and delegate tasks to staff
- to ensure the staff are adhering to the Warehouse procedures
- to ensure QC checks are being carried out on activity carried out by warehouse staff
- to ensure the management of stock through leading stock checks to minimise inaccurate stock reporting
- to ensure we are maintaining a stock cleansing process within all Warehouses whilst still trying to maximise each Warehouse
- to carry out all duties delegated to you from Head of Warehouse, working in line with the warehouse procedures and to ensure good quality controls are being used by staff
- to ensure all despatches are cleared daily in line with client/customer requirements
Requirements
- to have previously worked in a warehouse environment
- flexibility with the working hours of your shift due to work demand
- good communication, numeracy and Literacy skills are essential and an eye for detail
- general understanding of H & S in your workplace and to work & support a team environment
- warehouse experience: 1 year
- team Leading: 1 year
