Requirements

  • be able to successfully identify a range of tree and shrub species as well as common tree pests and disease
  • experience of dealing with Tree Preservation Order issues to ensure the best possible outcome for the client
  • the ability to produce tree risk management surveys and reports using, QTRA or another recognized system
  • be able to carry out and support sales activities, including drafting proposals and quotes and assisting with submission of tenders
  • have an in-depth knowledge and experience of professional arboricultural work with the ability to understand the requirements of the client and then provide them with clear advice based on their specifications
  • understand key industry standards such as BS5837:2012, BS3998:2010, NJUG Vol 4 and current guidance on tree risk management
  • experience of developing business through establishing good client relationships and identifying opportunities for follow-on work
  • hold a full driving licence

  • accurately qualify client needs and record client details and project requirements on our CRM system
  • schedule appointments for estimators and arborist crews
  • follow up on leads and estimates through the system to convert to appointments
  • answer incoming email queries and contact incoming leads from advertising
  • support other office personnel by taking messages or transferring calls when appropriate personnel are unavailable
