Responsibility

  • report/fix any problems or broken equipment as soon as possible, reporting any issues you can’t fix to your line manager
  • assist with the recruitment, induction and training of new starters on achieving the standards identified in the site specifications / contracts
  • manage understaffing and ensuring variations are dealt with, regularly monitoring attendance and informing HR of absences
  • observe all safety procedures and instructions and assist in maintaining a safe workplace and reporting any accidents, hazards, near misses, damages or defects to tools and equipment to the appropriate person
  • complete and maintain relevant records accurately and on time
  • investigate any incidents or near-misses, notifying the Health and Safety team as appropriate
  • supervise the sites, ensuring service is completed within the agreed schedules and to required standards/specifications
  • be the point of contact for your team with any personnel queries, dealing with or referring to the correct person
