time served apprenticeship in a manufacturing and welding environment
time served with manufacturing and welding experience
NVQ Diploma in Fabrication and Welding Engineering or equivalent
attention to detail
current CSCS card
fabricate and Mig weld to a high standard
ability to read and interpret architectural and engineering drawings
fabrication of stair rails, wall rails, Juliet balconies, general fabrication
contracts manager

Responsibility
preparing and overseeing production programmes, liaising with workshop production to ensure dates are met
supervision of site staff
ensuring QM systems are followed, and site staff meet required training standards
sourcing and selection of construction plant and access
attend pre-contract meeting for projects as required
work collaboratively with internal staff and report back to management as required
attending weekly production meetings and quarterly management meetings, delivering site reports as required
support in the provision of tender documents, contracts, budget, bills of quantities, quotations, measuring and valuation of work done on site and other documentation as required
Requirements
A full driving licence for this post is essential
CSCS Managers Card
CITB SMSTS Qualification
CPCS Appointed Person Qualification - preferable but no essential
