Requirements

  • demonstrable experience in credit control - having worked as a sole credit controller in a startup will be a bonus
  • very customer service orientated
  • comfortable with assisting in resolving billing queries
  • studying Finance/Accounting or a degree that requires high numeracy skill or equivalent work experience
  • A self-starter who can work with minimal guidance
  • numerically strong with excellent commercial skills
  • an understanding of financial contracts and fees
  • A confident communicator, both verbally and in writing, who enjoys working with a wide range of people

  • ensuring all debt is managed and collected as per agreed credit terms
  • owning your own ledger with roughly 1000 merchant accounts
  • inbox management
  • setting up and maintaining running processes for your ledger
  • respond to and resolve queries and liaise with internal teams to drive query resolutions

  • create and distribute various debt reports to management and stakeholders
