Requirements

  • we are looking for individual scaffolders, or scaffold gangs
  • we have an immediate requirement for Trainee scaffolders/Labourers to fill positions in scaffold gangs
  • if applying as a gang, then ideally x1 advanced scaffolder per gang
  • you must have completed a COTS course, and hold a valid CISRS card for this position
  • all applicants must have a valid CISRS Card. These will be checked before starting
  • own transport required to get yourself to Westerham, Kent
  • you would be required to be at our yard in Westerham, Kent, for a 6am start
  • SMSTS/SSSTS is an advantage

  • relevant safety certification NEBOSH construction
  • in-depth knowledge of safety laws, regulations, and best practices
  • ability to conduct risk assessments and enforce preventive measures
  • ability to work in various environments, including office settings, construction sites, and industrial areas
  • strong analytical, communication, and training skills
  • problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities
  • must be able to stand, walk, and climb for extended periods
  • driving licence required

Responsibility

  • stay updated on local and national safety regulations and ensure the organization complies with them
  • liaise with government and regulatory bodies regarding safety issues
  • perform regular safety inspections across all work areas to identify potential hazards
  • organize drills and training for emergency preparedness, including fire drills and evacuation procedures
