Responsibility

  • contribute to planning and overseeing the day to day running of site
  • overseeing Management of Sub-Contractors and dealing with day to day queries
  • ensure the project programme is kept to schedule and provide updates to Management
  • understand site risks and opportunities and work to pro-actively mitigate risks and realise opportunities
  • communication with the Contracts Director, QS and Procurement Manager and other colleagues to monitor progress and inform of problems
  • management of HS&E and wellbeing on site including completion of daily site register, ensuring RAMS, permits, site inductions, toolbox talks and briefings are all in place

  • have experience of various construction methods
  • experience of reading and accurately interpreting drawings and technical specifications
  • due to continued expansion, a strong reputation & extensive forward order base an exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Building Estimator to join our Team based in Letchworth
  • good standard of mathematical ability
  • you will be working alongside our Principal Estimator and your primary role will be the preparation of tenders for domestic extensions, refurbishments and conversions from £10k - £1million
