Working hours

Requirements

  • apprentice trained with an engineering qualification
  • strong understanding of and attention to Health and Safety in the workplace
  • press Tool Dismantling and Assembly, Mechanical problem solving, working to high tolerances
  • experience in Tandem, Transfer and / or Progression Tooling is desirable
  • previously operated machinery and equipment in an engineering based role
  • manufacture/Maintenance and repair of Press Tooling, jig and fixtures or similar
  • cold Stamping process knowledge from 60-2000ton
  • toolroom or similar workshop protocol with associated equipment

Responsibility

  • agree a repair plan with the shift supervisor and cascade through the 3 shift cycle with other team members
  • must complete all work within set timescales dictated by production/customer requirements
