  • as a Field Engineer, you will work closely with the Project Management team to supervise multi-disciplined construction projects
  • being a Field Engineer at London Gatwick, you are contributing to the development and growth of the world's most efficient runway airport
  • hours: 40 hours, Monday – Friday. This role is office and site based
  • working in a fast-paced, live environment, and offering opportunities for development, you will have the chance to work with supportive and skilled colleagues who take pride in their work
  • working closely with internal teams and contractors to ensure the successful completion of projects and involved in the end-to-end process

Requirements

  • qualified to Higher National Certificate / Higher National Diploma level or equivalent in electrical engineering
  • desirably qualified in City & Guilds – Initial and Periodic Electrical Inspection and Testing
  • experience of handover and closeout of projects
  • experience in addressing HSE issues associated with construction
  • understanding and knowledge of quality management
  • experience as a Field, Site or Construction Engineer on multi-year and £multi-million projects with a value typically up to £10 million
  • qualified in the 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
