  • manage and conduct internal and external audits, ensuring compliance and addressing any non-conformances promptly and effectively
  • oversee all quality control procedures, including raw material inspection, in-process checks, and final product release
  • investigate and resolve customer complaints, identifying root causes and implementing corrective and preventive actions
  • collaborate closely with production, procurement, and other departments to embed quality throughout the entire supply chain
  • monitor and analyse quality data, identifying trends and recommending improvements to processes and products
  • ensure all staff are adequately trained on food safety, hygiene, and quality procedures

Requirements

  • proven experience in a similar Quality Assurance leadership role within the food manufacturing or fresh produce industry
  • in-depth knowledge of food safety standards and regulations
  • demonstrable experience in implementing and managing a robust QMS
  • HACCP Level 3/4 qualification
  • strong understanding of auditing principles and experience in conducting internal and external audits
  • excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • highly organised with meticulous attention to detail and a proactive approach
  • ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple priorities
