Responsibility
- frontline Recruitment Weymouth are seeking an Electrical & Mechanical Maintenance Engineer in Weymouth
- carry out Safety Testing and Installation work as allocated
- respond to both Mechanical and Electrical breakdowns, fault finding activity and requests for assistance in a timely manner
- assess, replace, program, and calibrate equipment such as programmable logic controllers, human machine interfaces, temperature controllers, inverters, probes, and sensors
- take part in the Emergency Response, Chlorine Response and Out of Hours Maintenance Call-out Team processes as scheduled
- the purpose of this job is to maintain the plant and equipment factory-wide and attend breakdowns in a timely and efficient manner , all in accordance with legislative and safety obligations
- install services to new equipment as and when necessary
- monitor correct functioning of key processes e.g. extraction systems
Education
- essential
- electrical qualified to City & Guilds OR level 3 NVQ electrical qualifications or equivalent
- minimum of 3 years’ experience in a Maintenance or Engineering environment
- sound electromechanical engineering background
- computer literate with normal office-based packages
