Responsibility

  • to provide 3rd line infrastructure/server support for customer environments, be it on-premises server estates or hosted privately or publicly
  • trouble shoot complex customer problems and provide senior technical support
  • this role will provide support to both Managed Service customer contracts and our data centre infrastructure

Requirements

  • at least 18 months recent experience in a 3rd line support role at an MSP
  • infrastructure support experience in an ITIL environment
  • excellent communications skills and a professional telephone manner are essential in this customer-focused role
  • experience of technical 3rd line support on a busy service desk
  • decision making with an analytical mind-set
  • proven track record in problem solving and resolving complex issues and experience in researching and developing solutions
  • teamwork
  • excellent time management skills
