Responsibility
- building and populating reporting stream on sales, stock, profit key metrics and promotions in daily, weekly and monthly trade meetings
- PLM
- providing commercial analysis on historic performance, summarising lessons learnt and a framework to help develop forward plans

- ensure specific style information on the PLM system is up to date at all times
- record bulk approvals in PLM
- influence key stakeholders through compelling merchandising insights and effective presentation of results
- after style fits are completed ensure the PLM is all correct with ready to hand over to the factory for production
- utilising website analytics to monitor KPI’s and enrich product performance data with relevant website behaviour
- working with B&M, content and marketing teams to ensure effective product campaign co-ordination
- providing accurate DC forecasts and informing them about any areas that can impact fulfilment capacity
- take full ownership of the active day-to-day trade plan and any promotions, reacting to performance signals to proposing new solutions and if needed a fresh approach
- be a channel expert with detailed knowledge of product, trends, market and competitor tactics, with a focus throughout on customer. This will enable being key contact for all online analysis
- participate in range selection meetings with B&M teams and share insights and allocation direction
- chasing cost prices, margins, minimums and deliveries are within the parameters for Outlet buyers
- set up season by data inputing all information from swatch book and pre-system Into AS400. Ensure setups are signed off by Head Production Merchandiser before hand over to the Sales team
- maintain Weekly Stock Sales and Intake forecasts and support company stock liquidation needs
- making strategic product recommendations to highlight potential risks and opportunities by ensuring key drivers of the range are represented
- understanding ROS & Sell-thru data to project seasonal buys by line
- ensure the Swatch Book is accurate and checked with the necessary number of copies printed out for showing
- creating markdown plan documents to meet margin targets
- maintaining stock availability to agreed levels across all product areas by working with merchandising teams to optimise/release/build online stocks to maximise retail sales & profit
- ensure on time delivery of swatch books ready to use for Sales team and all internal teams
- feedback to Head Merchandiser with any problems or issues that could affect price or delivery
- work with buyers and country offices to ensure placed orders meet factory minimums
Requirements
- 3 years’ experience in a fast-paced retail fashion business, preferable within ecommerce
- solid numerical & analytical skills and experience using web analytics would be an advantage
- strong commercial drive, judgement and the ability to spot trading opportunities
