the ideal candidate would need either previous experience in a logistic based business or having a willingness and an understanding of HGV road transport, as we are happy to train and support the right person who believes transport would be their chosen career
the role involves working within a team dealing with routing of pallet network deliveries & collections, general haulage work flow, you would require a good geographical knowledge of the local area and the UK
daily duties to include telephone communication between customers, depots, deliveries drivers & other team members, use of internal IT systems for job creation, tracking of freight, You will also be required to create daily reports, deal with various other issues and general administration duties
