FREEFOLK is looking for employees for positions:
- fluent in RedHat-based OSes for both server and workstation, must have previous experience in Linux System Administration roles
- creating, using and optimizing VMs
- linux lifecycle management tooling experiences such as Ansible, Foreman, Puppet, Saltstack or Chef
- knowledge of IP networks, subnets, routing and network services
- scripting experience using Python
- strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, sound work methodology
- excellent communication and collaboration skills with both technical and non-technical teams
- well organised and good time management
- source candidates using a variety of search methods
- manage and build on our existing freelance database
- review applications and conduct interviews whether in person or via zoom
- perform reference checks as needed
- facilitate the offer process and negotiate employment terms
- manage onboarding and new hire process
- manage the overall interview, selection, and closing process
- ensure all screening, hiring, and selection are done in accordance with employment laws and regulations
- 2 or more years of recruiting experience, specifically in the VFX industry
- 2 or more years of recruiting experience, preferably in the VFX industry
- some previous experience in HR tasks is nice to have
- some previous experience in an HR role is preferable
- ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing
- excellent organisational and time management skills
- comfortable making decisions independently
- knowledge of interview techniques and applicant screening methods
- ability to create photo-realistic digital matte paintings
- good understanding of all aspects of the digi-matte workflow with a strong knowledge of how to combine 2D and 3D elements
- experience working with shoot data including photographic and reference data, HDRIs and photogrammetry
- work with the CG and Compositing teams to ensure shots are delivered to a high standard
- great communication skills
- ability to work to a schedule and meet deadlines whilst maintaining a high standard of work
- regular communication with supervisor and production
- keep up to date with new tools, software, data and other related technology
