Requirements
- class 1 HGV Licence
- DIGI and CPC Cards Up to Date
- excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently
- good understanding of safety procedures
- flexible approach to working hours
Responsibility
- abide by health and safety requirements
- conduct daily walk around checks on a regular basis of both the lorry unit and the trailer/ fridge
- adhering to all relevant driving regulations and company policies
- treat with care and attention and respect all items of Customer and Company property
- communicate any problems immediately to the appropriate Operations Manager, Planning Managers, Compliance, or the Fleet Maintenance Manager
- deal with Customers in a courteous, professional, and efficient manner at all times
- refuel on a regular basis and show and practice good fuel saving efficiencies when out on the road
- abide by drivers’ hours, tacho and rest periods
