farm worker
Responsibility
- operate and maintain farm machinery including tractors, cultivators, drills, sprayer, and harvest equipment
- perform cultivation's, drilling, spraying, fertiliser spreading, removal of slurry from units, and onto land
- record work activities, inputs and field operations accurately
- performing routine maintenance and minor repairs on farm machinery and equipment, including power tools and hand tools
- conducting general farm maintenance tasks such as fencing repairs, equipment cleaning, and landscape upkeep
- assist with grain handling, storage and drying
- supporting the organisation of farm resources and materials for efficient workflow
- follow Health and Safety procedures and farm assurance standards
Requirements
- basic mechanical knowledge related to farm machinery and equipment repair
- competent tractor driving skills
- good time management and organisational skills
- basic maths skills for measurements, calculations, and record keeping
- strong organisational skills with attention to detail in daily tasks
