  • having direct communication with clients and third parties
  • dealing with a mix of Private Law Family matters
  • forbes Solicitors are looking for a Solicitor to join our growing Private Family Team at our Northgate office in Blackburn. The Family team are a growing team within the Lancashire area
  • dealing with advocacy work and attending court
  • both full time and part time hours will be considered for this role, with the option to work on a hybrid basis, both remotely from home and in the office after a period of time in order to get up to speed on the firms systems/procedures and wider departmental training

Requirements

  • be SRA qualified or Cilex
  • previous experience dealing with complex private family matters is essential
  • experience of working with LAA
  • proven capability to generate fees in accordance with agreed targets
  • proven experience of handling own caseload, working to and managing deadlines
  • good writing and drafting skills, with excellent communication and technical ability
  • have good client care skills, providing professional and competent legal advice in accordance with SRA Code of Conduct
  • have the ability to work unsupervised and good self-motivation skills
