Responsibility
- food Junkee Catering Services currently has an immediate job opening for Delivery Drivers specialising in hot food sales
- this role does not involve multi-drop or LGV delivery driving
- cold calling is a significant aspect of this job, requiring confidence in approaching potential customers and effectively selling our service
- your earnings will increase as you sell more, and these additional earnings will be included on a weekly basis
- we are seeking confident, professional, and self-motivated individuals with vibrant personalities to join our established team as part of the only Afro-Caribbean hot food delivery service
- starting at 8 am, you will load your van with freshly prepared hot and cold food and sell it to customers along your designated route
- initially, you will be assigned a specific route, but your goal will be to maintain sales and gradually expand the route, maximising business opportunities throughout the working day
- throughout the day, you will be responsible for maintaining the safety of the vehicle, ensuring cleanliness and tidiness of serving areas, restocking drinks, accurately cashing up, and debriefing with your manager before concluding the day
Requirements
- demonstrated experience in sales and customer service
- self-sufficiency, a can-do attitude, and 100% dedication and motivation
- comfort with numbers, and prior experience using a card machine is desirable but not essential
- A valid and clean UK driving license
