- focus Birmingham is a leading charity in Birmingham and we are seeking Casual Drivers to join the Transport department
- shifts will total 5 hours a day, Monday to Friday. 7.00am- 5.30pm
- you will need to be safety focused as caring for the service users is paramount
- this is a Safeguarding position, you will be working with vulnerable adults and an enhanced DBS will be required

- we are looking for friendly drivers who have a desire to deliver an excellent customer service to all of our service users
- maintain a professional “front of house” manner at all times
- transport Service users safely from and to their homes to a scheduled timetable
- ensuring food deliveries are received in accordance with temperature Guidelines
- ensuring H&S regulations are adhered to at all times
- to report to the Facilities manager any food quality issues or order issue as they arise
- verify Goods received to orders placed
- to set up, clear and clean the dining room ready for service

- millward Place is a block of 14 flats for people with learning, physical, sensory and communication disabilities
- the flats are owned by Bromford Housing Association and Focus Birmingham provides care packages for the tenants who reside there
- our staff empower tenants to carry out their daily tasks, by promoting their independence and individual preferences
- this job involves providing direct support to people with learning, physical, sensory and communication disabilities
- tenants are encouraged to access and fully participate in activities at Millward Place
- you will ensure the people we support travel to the Day Service in a safe and enjoyable environment
- you will proactively support each person’s ability to make choices and communicate their needs
