Responsibility
- supervising the kitchen team to ensure food is consistently produced to an excellent standard of quality and visual presentation
- adhering to health & safety requirements and maintaining excellent hygiene standards
- work closely and communicate clearly with the Bookings Manager regarding the buffet lunches
- maintaining appropriate reports and records for food safety
- maximize operational efficiency of a production kitchen by minimizing wastage and labour costs
- ordering and keeping an eye on all stock levels, whilst rotating the existing stock with new deliveries
- overseeing the daily running of the kitchen to ensure the smooth and timely delivery of food produced for coffee vans and buffet lunches
Requirements
- strong knowledge and understanding of the F&B sector with commercial awareness
- proven experience in a kitchen management role of 2+ years
