our client is a leader in the supply of non-mechanical plant within the construction industry and supply many blue-chip companies Nationwide
knowledge of or previous experience within a similar industry is essential for this position as you will be to report directly to and support the depot manager
as an operations controller you will help with the day to day running of the hire desk. This will involve monitoring and responding to emails, booking in deliveries, taking orders and dealing with stock returns and off hires and damages
you will also be required to serve customers face to face when they come into the depot to order, collect or return equipment
the operations side of this role will involve daily planning of the transport and liaising with the yard staff about stock levels in order to be able to be proactive in transferring equipment from their nationwide network of depots
you will be there to support the depot manager directly so this job will suit someone looking to take their next step in their career into a more managerial position
