Responsibility

• qualified Fibre Engineer - Based near Salisbury
• it’s a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Fibre Engineer who completes work to the highest quality
• you will be part of an installation team connecting and testing fibre optic cables across the regional networks

• you will arrive on site, complete a risk assessment and set the site up safely using relevant signage and courtesy boards
• dependant on the tasks set you will either be testing existing connections or splicing distribution points into the spine route
• this is your chance to join the splicing team for a rapidly expanding Fibre networking company with big growth ambitions
• we are looking for someone to hit the ground running but understand that some training will be required to adapt to our way of working
• as a Fibre Engineer you will be working a lot on your own in all weather conditions, it is therefore imperative that you hold a full clean driving licence and have held this for at least two years
• we are looking for a team player still though as sometimes we may ask you to work with other teams where needed, installing CBTs, surveying or blowing fibre

Requirements

• A driving license will be massively advantageous; but we will still consider applicants that cannot drive
• A driving license will be essential to this role, as you will be in a two man team with daily driving requirements
