Responsibility
- conduct security gatehouse duties, controlling traffic and personnel entering and leaving site
- checking of passes, searching vehicles and some weighbridge operations
- conduct physical security patrols by foot
- secure buildings and other company assets across the site
- carry out crime prevention activities such as routine vehicle searches
- perform road safety duties
- write reports of daily activities and irregularities, such as equipment or property damage, theft, presence of unauthorised persons, or unusual occurrences
- attend and investigate security intruder and access control alarm activations
Requirements
- valid SIA license
- required to pass a pre-employment health check
- excellent communication and administration skills
- reliable with excellent time-management skills
- available to travel to multiple sites
- high level of customer care
- security: 1 year
- security systems knowledge
