Responsibility

  • develop and maintain legacy software/applications in Java framework, whilst aligning with the company’s best practice methods
  • migrate legacy applications written in Java over to .NET frameworks
  • liaise with various teams to plan and develop upcoming solutions and updates
  • develop in Agile and support the company’s movement towards an Agile environment
  • support colleague’s projects and encourage best practices
  • produce regression and unit test cases to ensure the product quality is up to company standard

Requirements

  • demonstrable industry experience working with Java stack
  • experience working with C# and .NET Core frameworks beneficial but will consider Junior Developers with willingness to learn
  • understanding of Azure and frontend technologies including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript a bonus
  • previous industry experience in an Agile software development environment
  • experience with SQL and Oracle advantageous
  • confident communicator with colleague and internal stakeholders
  • willingness to learn and develop personal technical ability to keep up to date with modern technologies
  • AZ-900/AZ-204 certified desirable but future funding provided
