Responsibility
- help define and lead paid digital media strategy across the UK brands
- ownership of European marketing communications, PR, media, and promotional activities
- audit, plan and optimise performance both from an 'always on’ perspective as well as for key strategic campaigns

- together with SEO Manager, ensure SEO roadmaps are complementary to the paid search programme
- plan, create, and publish content for social media
- manage relationships with the media agency ensuring they remain positive, productive and deliver exceptional service and ROI
- manage and collaborate with PR, creative design and translation agencies, providing briefs to meet business requirements
- working with a media agency and with the help of the Paid Media Executive, manage and optimise our paid channels at an effective ROI and CPA
- support and provide guidance to European business teams with marketing expertise in brand management, media planning, collateral production, digital campaigns, web content, design and print & event materials
- act as the bridge between various marketing teams and the media agency, using specialist performance marketing knowledge to ensure briefs are executed correctly
- this role works closely with brand marketing teams to ensure appropriate planning, feedback and sharing of best practice
- you will continually support the marketing teams by delivering digital activity in-line with overarching marketing campaigns and business objectives
- understand the benefits of our products and translate these into compelling content consistently communicated across an optimal mix of channels and platforms
- line management of the Paid Media Executive, ensuring optimum day to day management of our campaigns, achieving the best outcomes for each UK brand
- own, deliver and clearly communicate the channel measurement, ensuring the programme has clear KPI’s and achieves business ROI/CPA goals. Leverage benchmarks, uncover trends & share relevant insight
- atomise existing hero content to create derivative works, extending its reach and shelf life v Collaboration with UK distributors to create and implement joint marketing campaigns making use of the MDF funds available
- be an industry thought leader, be up to date on latest trends & technologies, sharing this knowledge with the rest of the team and wider business via established channels
- close working relationship with media agencies to deliver consistent performance to both target and budget
- additional support for local marketing may require flexibility e.g. acquiring cost estimates across multiple media channels; supporting events, generating sales incentive programmes for particular distributors in a specified market
Requirements

- proven experience in a similar role required
- hands on experience of running paid media campaigns without agency support
