- support the Financial Director and Management Accountant in the implementation of the Odoo system across the group
- reconcile bank accounts and other balance sheet accounts on a monthly basis
- prepare and submit monthly payroll information to the outsourced payroll provider
- provide support to the Financial Director and Management Accountant in ad-hoc projects as well business as usual activities
- assist in the preparation of statutory financial statements
- assist in the preparation of management accounts, budgets, and forecasts for the companies within the group
- prepare and submit VAT returns and other tax filings
- accounting: 3 years
- credit Control: 5 years
- credit Control in the recovery of debts, a key part of the role
- bank account reconciliations and assist the Management Accountant with the daily cash flow
- raise Intercompany Management Charge Invoices
- undertake any reasonable ad hoc duties & projects as required
- support and run invoice discounting schedules and reconciliation to Lloyds
- assisting senior engineers with installation, maintenance, and servicing of HIUs
- learning to diagnose and repair faults in heating systems
- conducting routine inspections and testing equipment
- supporting the commissioning of HIU systems
- following health and safety regulations and company procedures
- attending training sessions and obtaining relevant qualifications as required
