Responsibility

  • ETME Construction Ltd is looking for a Site Manager to oversee site operations and ensure that all safety requirements are met
  • the ideal candidate will have experience with construction and general management
  • the Site Manager will be responsible for the smooth operation of a site and ensuring that staff and contractors are working in a safe and productive manner
  • we are a rapidly growing principal contracting company based in Birmingham and we are looking for the right candidate to join the business at a great time with a very good chance to progress with their career and grow with the company
  • manage and comply with all Health and Safety requirements· Helping with site inductions and safety briefings/toolbox talks where required
  • checking sub-contractor RAMS and ensuring work is carried out safely and in accordance with method statement
  • reporting to the Project Manager with progress & involvement with weekly progress meetings, putting together weekly & four-weekly plans

Requirements

  • previous experience in site management essential
  • ideally have a valid Black Manager’s or Gold Supervisor’s CSCS card
  • must have SMSTS and First Aid
  • the Successful Candidate will be a key element of the team, able to lead, motivate and effectively communicate with other skilled staff
  • you must have a “Can Do” attitude, not afraid of getting stuck into your work and willing to be positive minded adaptable and flexible
