we’re looking for someone to join our team on a full-time basis. You will primarily work for The Ethical Butcher, but may from time to time also be required to cut and pack meat for Exquisite Range
the Ethical Butcher is committed to changing the way farming operates in the UK, by providing a route to market for our community of farmer-partners using innovative agriculture designed to significantly reduce the environmental impact of farming
receiving deliveries of meat and inspecting them to ensure that they adhere to the highest quality standards and are not expired
Requirements
butchery and meat industry experience
advanced knowledge of meat preparation techniques and cuts
experience making sausages and value added products
strong organisational, communication, task management, and team work skills
ability to use hand tools, stand or walk for extended periods, lift heavy items, and work in cold environments
happy to take holidays outside of the usual holiday periods – Christmas and Easter
butchering: 3 years
