- we’re looking for someone to join our team on a full-time basis. You will primarily work for The Ethical Butcher, but may from time to time also be required to cut and pack meat for Exquisite Range
- the Ethical Butcher is committed to changing the way farming operates in the UK, by providing a route to market for our community of farmer-partners using innovative agriculture designed to significantly reduce the environmental impact of farming
- receiving deliveries of meat and inspecting them to ensure that they adhere to the highest quality standards and are not expired
Requirements
- butchery and meat industry experience
- advanced knowledge of meat preparation techniques and cuts
- experience making sausages and value added products
- strong organisational, communication, task management, and team work skills
- ability to use hand tools, stand or walk for extended periods, lift heavy items, and work in cold environments
- happy to take holidays outside of the usual holiday periods – Christmas and Easter
- butchering: 3 years
