Responsibility
- deploys new desktops and laptops to end users
- communicates with end users to provide support and troubleshoot problems with desktops, laptops, software, and court reporting equipment
- communicate with clients to provide support for client facing services

- collaborates with other IT Department staff and management to review and analyse hardware and software needs; recommends changes
- maintains network systems, installing new hardware and modifying existing hardware, including peripheral devices such as printers, switches, routers, and other equipment, and related network software and applications
- identifies common causes of trouble such as loose connections or defective components
- reviews manufacturers' specifications on connections and methods to locate problems
- test, configure, and deploy new software applications
- conducts periodic diagnostics and testing of computers, network, electronic court reporting hardware, including microphones, and sound mixers, to ensure optimal network and computer function and minimal downtime
- audio/video file conversion and management
- performs other related duties as assigned to support the operation of the business and client needs
Requirements
- excellent knowledge with Microsoft Windows Desktop operating systems
- good knowledge of LAN/WAN networks, TCP/IP protocols and network technologies
- experience setting up and troubleshooting computer USB audio mixers, microphones, and other court reporting related audio equipment
