Responsibility

  • leadership & Management Act as a role model and be an exemplar for the ECS values
  • responsible for effective delivery of ambulance operations including but not exclusively, workforce, scheduling, dispatch

  • in partnership with the Clinical Team Leaders, Local Operations Managers and Practice Educators provide strong operational leadership across the ambulance operations and operations support teams

Responsibility

  • in partnership with the Ambulance Operations Manager, provide strong operational leadership across the ambulance operations and operations support teams
  • ensure effective communications with the ambulance operations and operations support team, utilising a variety of media
  • support effective delivery of ambulance operations including but not exclusively, fleet, logistics, equipment, medicines, scheduling

  • as a team leader, a key aspect of the role will be supporting the education and development of the clinical team at ECS
  • ensure learning and development as part of incident review and action plans
  • working with the wider ECS team to provide education and training sessions to groups of clinicians to ensure that skills are refreshed and maintained
