control systems engineer
Working hours
- full-time
Responsibility
- determine and define system scope and objectives
- creation of URS and FDS documentation
- the use of AutoCAD and possibly Solid Works as a design/drafting tool
- selection and configuration of process instrumentation, sensors, weighing systems etc
- development and Programming of various manufacturers PLC’s, HMI’s and SCADA
- direct involvement in control panel design, build and testing
- on-site commissioning of Electrical, Control and Instrumentation systems
- detailed design of control/electrical systems including selection of equipment, generation of schematics, cable schedules & electrical calculations. Electrical control panel layout / design
Requirements
- experience of PLC programming in multiple manufacturers
- experience of control panel design
- experience with HMI / SCADA programming
- proven ability to solve problems creatively
- strong familiarity with software tools, methodologies, and best practices
- experience seeing projects through the full life cycle
- strong interpersonal skills and extremely resourceful
- proven ability to complete projects according to outlined scope, budget, and timeline
