- the Junior Project Engineer acts as an engineer on customer projects in support of the designated Project Engineer
- the Junior Engineer provides technical assessment, analysis, and data review

- this job role acts as a Project Product Assurance Engineer for product assurance requirements on assigned space projects throughout the project lifecycle

- support in-build technical checks
- the Project Product Assurance Engineer will work with a dedicated Project PA Manager and a team of colleagues from other disciplines and will support production of documentation and hardware for delivery to the customer
- the role is responsible for on time and on quality Product Assurance activities delivered within Enersys ABSL
- support technical checks during the battery test campaign, including support to testing at external sites, e.g. vibration
- review of test data, and correlation to predicted performance
- produce project documentation such as analysis reports, battery user manuals, test plans, and test reports
- the role supports continuous improvements across the function
- the role is responsible for schedule adherence of product assurance tasks on the designated project
- support communication on technical matters to the project team
- the role supports departmental purchasing requests
- support proposals by providing technical inputs
- the role supports product assurance inputs to risk management of the project
- the role is responsible for the timely completion of assigned project documentation to the necessary standards held by ABSL
- cost control and improvement of the department
- the role supports the Lessons Learned processes, ensuring they are followed and implemented on project
- the role is accountable for completing weekly time sheets, overtime request and annual leave forms
- support inputs to technical papers and presentations
- the role is accountable for participating in assigned training for the role
Requirements
- A BTEC in a STEM subject, equivalent qualification or industry experience
- A degree in STEM subject, or equivalent qualification
- mechanical design and analysis
