Responsibility
- oversee all aspects of nursery operations, including plant care, inventory management, and customer service
- develop and implement strategies to maximize plant health and growth
- train and supervise nursery staff, providing guidance and support as needed
- maintain a clean and organized nursery environment
- ensure compliance with all safety regulations and protocols
- monitor inventory levels and order supplies as necessary
- assist customers with plant selection and provide expert advice on care and maintenance
Education
- diploma of Higher Education
Requirements
- previous experience in nursery management or a related field
- strong knowledge of plants, including identification, care, and maintenance
- excellent organizational and leadership skills
- ability to work independently and make informed decisions
- strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- physical stamina to perform tasks such as lifting heavy plants or equipment
- flexibility to work weekends or extended hours during peak seasons
