  • the Health & Safety Officer will be the company’s statutory Health & Safety representative, ensuring we are compliant with all legislation

  • we install, service and maintain passive and active fire protection products, as well as smoke extract systems and perform some electrical installation works
  • maintaining all aspects of our CHAS accreditation
  • we carry out works nationwide and due to rapid expansion, we are looking to recruit our first internal Health & Safety Officer, on a 12 month contract, with the possibility of this becoming a permanent position

  • A strong understanding of construction specific rules, such as CIS VAT Reverse Charge, CIS, CITB
  • experience in successfully managing staff and strong leadership skills
  • proficiency in Sage 50, experience with simPRO an advantage, but the ability to pick up new systems is a must
  • excellent communication and rapport-building abilities

  • arranging diaries for up to 30 staff members and subcontractors and planning out work to fit with the programme
  • contacting sites and our client to book in work
  • arranging accommodation and travel
  • ensuring installers have all required information to attend and complete works by sending out daily planners, booking information and starter packs

  • monitor job progression and KPI’s and escalate or deal with any delays or issues immediately
  • chase installers/supervisors for required paperwork and photos
