  • upload case-related disbursements from Access to EIP’s practice management system

  • input all bank payment entries to Access
  • reconcile supplier accounts in Access
  • respond to questions and make calls regarding supplier invoicing problems. Act as a liaison between departments and suppliers where appropriate

Responsibility

  • within a national group of paralegals, the patent support team in London remains at the heart of our business, providing administrative and PA support to our highly skilled team of fee earners
  • paralegals work closely with their allocated Fee Earner , dealing with secretarial and administrative tasks and allowing their Fee Earner to make the best use of their time
  • they also perform certain aspects of patent and/or trademark work without guidance, and this requires knowledge of the relevant patent application procedures
  • paralegals should have good knowledge of EIP, its activities and key people, to ensure that work can be handled appropriately for and on behalf of Fee Earner at all times, including when they are absent
