Requirements
- established experience in accountancy with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar position
- experience of working in a multi-entity, multi-currency professional services environment, ideally as a Financial Controller
- demonstrable experience in the preparation of statutory accounts
- experience in hands-on implementation of firm-wide finance policies which improve efficiency
- effective business planning and budgeting skills
- management reporting skills
- experience reporting into senior stakeholders, ideally within a partnership environment
- an accountancy qualification: ICAEW, CIMA or ACCA
Responsibility
- conduct review of monthly accruals and prepayments for all the group's entities
- deliver an accurate and timely year end process; to include effective management of the annual audit process and production and filing of the group's annual statutory accounts
- prepare all information for the annual income tax calculations
- overall responsibility and oversight of all activities carried out by the finance team, ensuring output is accurate, timely and delivered in compliance with accounting principles and industry standards
