Responsibility

  • ensure site staff are motivated and work productively
  • through on-the-job learning, build an understanding of the daily running of contracts and what it takes to complete them successfully
  • ensure customer promises are delivered and relationships are developed

  • ensure all operatives have the relevant competences to deliver fire protection services
  • manage daily running of contracts to complete work to quality, time and compliance
  • understand and implement safe systems of work

Requirements

  • at least 3 years trade experience
  • full Driving Licence
  • time served
  • SSSTS/SMSTS
  • passive fire relative certification
  • must be fully familiar with Fire regulations
  • ideal for a former installer of Passive fire safety systems e.g Fire Doors, Firestopping, Intumescent paint
  • must be familiar with Fire regulations

  • prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and priming as necessary
  • apply paint, varnish, or other finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment
  • ensure all work is completed to the highest standards of quality and safety
  • communicate effectively with team members and clients regarding project requirements and progress
  • maintain tools and equipment in good working condition
  • follow all health and safety regulations while on-site
  • follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment

Requirements

  • proficiency in painting techniques and knowledge of various materials and finishes
  • valid driving licence is preferred for travel to different job sites
  • strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently or collaboratively as part of a team
  • proficiency in painting techniques and knowledge of various paints and finishes
  • previous experience in painting or a related field is advantageous but not essential; willingness to learn is key
  • ability to drive to various job sites as required
  • attention to detail and an eye for aesthetics to ensure high-quality results
