Responsibility
- prepare snacks, lunch and tea for up to 200 children and 50 staff
- coordinate with the assistant nursery chef and the kitchen assistant to ensure food is ready on time
- place weekly groceries order as per the menu
- review and prepare new menu for summer, autumn and winter menu
- introduce healthy, nutritious vegan and meat/fish based dishes to the menu
- ensure pots, pans and utensils after cleaned each meal is prepared and served
- keep the kitchen surfaces, equipment and utensils in orderly and hygienic condition at all time
- wear protective clothing aprons, hair net, plastic gloves
Requirements
- cooking for children in a school or nursery: 1 year
