Requirements

  • proven experience as a CNC Machinist with experience in milling. Experience working as a CNC Setter would be great. However, additional training will be provided

Responsibility

  • ensuring compliance with safety regulations and company policies

engineer

Responsibility

  • set up and operate manual and CNC milling, turning, and grinding machines
  • manufacture precision components from technical drawings and specifications
  • assist with tool assembly, fitting, and maintenance as required
  • work with a variety of metals and engineering plastics
  • carry out quality checks to ensure all parts meet required standards
  • maintain workshop machinery and ensure a safe, tidy working environment
  • collaborate with other engineers and toolmakers to support ongoing projects

Requirements

  • time-served engineer or equivalent engineering qualification
  • proven experience as a machinist or general engineer in a precision manufacturing environment
  • ability to read and interpret detailed engineering drawings
  • strong understanding of machining processes and tooling
  • good problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • ability to work independently and as part of a small, skilled team
  • knowledge of injection moulding tooling is advantageous but not essential
